The scientific committee invites research abstracts related to the conference theme or sub themes for oral or poster presentation (Visit concmc.org website)
Theme: Continuum of Nursing Care in Gastrointestinal Surgeries – The Way Forward

- Quality improvements in Gastrointestinal Surgical Nursing
- Post-operative nutritional challenges
- Wound management
- Quality of life following major GI surgeries
- Impact of COVID-19 on caring for patients undergoing GI surgeries
Dates and Deadlines
- Call for abstract opens on 5th April 2023
- Call for abstract closes on
26th June 2023(extended to) July 22, 2023 - Presenter notified of acceptance via email from 3rd July 2023 to July 25, 2023.
- Presenter registration deadline before 25th July 2023.
- Abstracts and posters must be submitted at surgicalconferenceconcmc1@gmail.com
Guidelines for Abstract Submission
A. Structured abstracts in English, limited to 300 words (excluding title and authors’ details)
B. The Screening Committee will scrutinize the submitted abstracts for the relevance and methodological soundness.
C. The decision of the screening committee regarding acceptance of the abstract as oral / poster presentation is final.
Guidelines for Poster
A. All posters should be prepared in English and must be self explanatory.
B. Poster should be anonymized (do not reveal the identity of the institution in the poster), and should include abstract number in the title (will be informed to the presenters by the organizers)
C. Layout: Portrait
D. Size of poster: 100 cm x100 cm
